Moringa Helps in Skin Wound Healing

In this post we are highlighting research study that back skin and hair benefits of moringa oleifera.
A laboratory study published at US National Library of Medicine, says that moring helps heal skin wounds faster by reducing oxidative stress. According to another study moringa is rich source of many organic antioxidants like phenolics, flavonoids, carotenoids and ascorbic acid.
The study also highlights the need of further study to find pharmacology (exact mechanism of action) of wound healing property.
Moringa Helps in Treating Edema
As per a study published at ScienceDirect Journal of Ethnopharmacology in 2022, application of Moring oleifera seed oil to mice with ear edema showed reduction in skin inflammation. Hence anti-inflammatory property is proven in animal study, however, human study is required.
Edema is a medical condition where fluid buildup happens because of inflammation. In ear edema, because of fluid buildup around ear, tissues around ear swells because of infection.
