As per study published at ScienceDirect – Food Research International, moringa has been found to provide relief from various stomach disorders.
For instance:
- In leaves are more nutritious than pods as per USDoA (US Department of Agriculcture). Another study indicates that moringa leaves extract capsule may help in colon cancer prevention.
- According to this study, moringa leaves have laxative effects making it probable natural remedy for constipation.
- Another study published at US Library of Medicine, moringa helps reduce stomach acid production which eventually helps in peptic ulcer.
- A study at published at Frontiersin, found moringa useful for ulcerative colitis.
It should be noted that above studies have been done on animals. Hence, human studies are required to confirm the therapeutic benefits.
